BJP to Target Minority Votes in 2024 Through Sufis

New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi says that his government works on the policy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. In this context, in the Telangana Executive Meeting, PM Narendra Modi had appealed to the Sufi community including Pasmanda Muslims to join the party. A meeting of the Delhi Sufi chapter was held at the party’s national headquarters to connect Sufis with the party. Speaking to News18 after the meeting, Syed Yasir Ali Jilani, media in-charge of the BJP Minority Morcha, said the party has given the responsibility to the Delhi Sufi chapter to connect more and more Sufis to the party.

Syed Yasir Ali Jilani says that through this, while the schemes of the Modi government at the Center will be reached to more and more people, at the same time more and more people can be contacted for the 2024 general elections. He says that the party is trying to get at least some votes in those booths where the party does not get a single vote even in Muslim-dominated areas.

Strategy made for Pasmanda and Sufi
Syed Yasir Ali Jilani says that the party did not get a single vote at the Batla House booth of Okhla Assembly in Delhi, but in the recent municipal elections (MCD), the way the BJP made an election strategy through Pasmanda and Sufi, some votes were received at this booth.

BJP is improving its overall performance
Syed Yasir Ali Jilani says that the BJP wants to improve its overall performance by getting some votes in such traditional booths where BJP does not get votes. He says that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is working under this special strategy to increase every vote so that the government is formed in 2024 in a better position than in 2019.
