Ingredients for making corn chaat:
- Sweet corn kernels – 2 cups
- Butter – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Lemon – 1
- Salt – as per taste
Method of making corn chaat:
- To prepare a tasty and healthy corn chaat for breakfast, take sweet corn and remove the kernels from the cob, storing them in a large bowl.
- Boil water in a pot and add the corn kernels to it. Boil until the corn becomes soft. Once done, turn off the heat, drain the water using a sieve, and keep the boiled corn kernels aside.
- In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of butter over medium flame. When the butter melts, add the boiled corn kernels and sauté them for 2 minutes.
- When you start getting a nice aroma from the roasted kernels, turn off the heat and transfer them to a bowl. Let them cool down.
- Once the corn kernels have cooled down, add red chilli powder, cumin powder, and chaat masala. Mix well to coat the kernels evenly with the spices.
