The name of this special shop is ‘Nand Di Hatti’. The unique thing about the food items made here is the use of desi ghee (clarified butter). Moreover, their pickles are also made with a mixture of desi ghee.
The owner of ‘Nand Di Hatti,’ Ankur, revealed that his grandfather started this shop in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Later, in 1948, he opened this shop in Delhi. Ankur belongs to the fourth generation of his family, who is currently managing ‘Nand Di Hatti’. Ankur further mentioned that actor Hrithik Roshan also orders Chole Bhature from here once a year. He has also catered twice at the home of BJP Member of Parliament and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir. The director of the famous TV serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ also frequently visits this place.

To reach the ‘Nand Di Hatti’ shop, one needs to get off at R.K. Ashram Marg station on the Blue Line Metro. Upon exiting, a rickshaw can take you to the Sadar Bazaar in Old Delhi within 15 to 20 minutes. Once you arrive here, you can ask anyone in the market about the ‘Nand Di Hatti’ shop. The shop remains open from Monday to Saturday, from 11 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Sundays.
The price for Chole with two Bhaturas at ‘Nand Di Hatti’ shop is 120 rupees. However, Chole with one Bhatura is available here for 60 rupees.
