Bikaner: The city of Bikaner in Rajasthan is quite famous for its food. The salty snacks and sweets here are quite popular. Bikaner also offers delicious and flavorful kachoris. There are various types of kachoris available here. At Bhairu Kachori Wala, located in Bhanthia Chowk, you can find tasty besan kachoris. They are enjoyed with great relish in the old city. Typically, you can get one kachori for 10 rupees at shops, but here you get four besan kachoris for the same price. People come from far and wide to taste this special kachori. This shop is famous throughout Bikaner under the names of two brothers.
The shopkeeper Bhairu explained that they have been running this shop since childhood. They have been running the shop with their brother for almost 25 years. While his brother Kanhaiyalal prepares kachoris and pakoras, he serves them to people. Their shop remains open from 6 am to 3 pm every day. Hundreds of people come daily to have kachoris. Bhairu mentions that they have been selling kachoris at the same rate for years. The size of their kachoris is around an inch in diameter.
Bhairu mentioned that they use gram flour (besan) in their kachoris. They also add whole coriander seeds, carom seeds, fenugreek leaves, and all-purpose flour (maida) to make them. Along with kachoris, they also sell pakoras. They provide customers with 100 grams of pakoras for 10 rupees.
