Now, the special thing about this entire matter is that out of the 1 million units, there is only one car from the company that sells more than half. That is the Seltos. The company has sold 532,450 units of the Seltos. Now, the company has also launched its facelift model and its bookings have started from Friday.
Car Units Sold
Apart from the Seltos, Kia has sold 332,450 units of the Sonet, 120,516 units of the Creta, and 14,584 units of the Carnival. Along with this, the company is also strengthening its lineup of electric vehicles and preparing to capture its share in the market of Kia electric cars with several new models in the coming time.
Impressive New Facelift
The company is giving the Seltos its first update. Since its launch in 2019, the car has not received any facelift. In the new model, the company has made several changes along with safety features. The engine has also been modified.
Petrol and Diesel Engines
Kia Seltos will come with both petrol and diesel engines. In the new facelift model, it will be equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine. The diesel engine can be purchased with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox unit. On the other hand, the petrol engine unit is being offered with an iMT and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
