Moreover, Kia has kept the car’s price quite competitive, with the base model starting at INR 10.90 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Considering the Indian market and buyer mood, Kia has made remarkable changes to the Seltos. The car is now much safer with the addition of features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring System, 6 airbags, Electronic Parking Brake, ABS, EBD, and many others. A total of 17 new safety features are available in the car. Along with these changes, the company has completely revamped the car’s design and interior.
Stunning Interior
The car’s interior has undergone a complete overhaul. The car now comes with new upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an 8-way adjustable power driver seat, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a D-cut steering wheel, ambient mood lighting with LED sound mood lights, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charger, Bose sound system, and a head-up display, among other features.
Powerful Engine
Kia has not only changed the appearance of the Seltos but also its heart. The current Seltos in the market is entirely new. The company has upgraded the engine and increased its power. The car now gets a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine generating 160 bhp. The company also offers a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine variant. Additionally, the car is available with the old engine options. With this update, the Seltos is now available with three engine options. The car comes with manual, iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission), and automatic transmission options.
