While in France, the PM is taking moment-to-moment updates on the floods in Delhi. This information was given by Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. The PM also assured all possible help on the floods of Delhi.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Home Minister Amit Shah over phone regarding the flood-like situation in parts of Delhi due to rising water level of Yamuna. Together with the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, we are closely monitoring the situation. Adequate number of NDRF teams are ready for rescue operations to help those in need.
