Rainy Week Ahead: Continuous Showers Forecasted for Delhi-NCR and Several Parts of India

New Delhi. There is a possibility of continuous rain in Delhi-NCR for the next one week. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), monsoon rains are expected in the entire country today except north Karnataka and Raiseema. According to the IMD, on July 14, the sky will be generally cloudy in Delhi and there will be light rain. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh today.

The IMD has issued a red alert for uttarakhand, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim due to heavy rains. An orange alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also likely at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, North Haryana, Nagaland, Manipur, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe.

According to the IMD, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, coastal and south interior Karnataka.
