New Delhi. We have been reading and hearing about electric cars, electric scooters, and electric trucks. Many companies are continuously investing in the production of these electric vehicles. But now, the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturing company is about to introduce a vehicle that will not only be trendy but will also completely transform the EV market. For this purpose, the company had showcased its prototype model some time ago, but until then, no information about its production was available. Several times, the company had spoken about extending the truck’s production timeline on its own. However, now the production model is fully prepared, and its images have also been revealed. We are talking about Tesla here. Tesla is set to add a magnificent vehicle to its electric vehicle portfolio. This will be the Tesla Cybertruck, which is about to start production soon.
Tesla claims that the company will deliver the first Cybertruck by the end of 2023. Meanwhile, its mass production will begin in 2024. The company has already prepared its first unit. It is believed that the production model by the company will be just like the prototype shown earlier. The upcoming Tesla Cybertruck will come with several futuristic features. The company has also worked significantly on its range and speed. It will be available in four variants, namely single motor, dual motor, and tri-motor options. The company has given these variants the names Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y. The bookings for the Cybertruck have also begun, but currently, it is limited to the United States only. However, the company has not disclosed any information about its launch, price, or specifications.
Impressive Range and Power
Tesla will offer the Cybertruck with three motor options, including single, dual, and tri-motor packs. The single motor pack will be rear-wheel drive and provide a range of 402 kilometers on a single charge. It will also be capable of reaching a speed of 96 kilometers per hour in just 6.5 seconds.
The dual motor Cybertruck will have a range of 482 kilometers and will be an all-wheel-drive vehicle. It will be able to reach 96 kilometers per hour in just 4.5 seconds.
The tri-motor Cybertruck, also an all-wheel-drive vehicle, will have even better range and will be able to cover up to 804 kilometers on a single charge. It will reach 96.5 kilometers per hour in just 2.9 seconds.
When Will it Arrive in India?
Currently, discussions are underway regarding Tesla’s entry into India, and the company also plans to set up its production plant here. However, no concrete decision has been made yet. Nevertheless, it is believed that by the end of this year, the final seal of approval could be given. If this happens, the company will first set up an assembly unit in India. In that case, the Cybertruck could be imported to India on a large scale when its production starts. However, it may take 2 to 3 years for the Cybertruck to arrive in India.
